Welcome to Madrid
This traditional tavern inspired by 1940’s Paris is located in the heart of the Salamanca Neighbourhood s, created by the culinary director, Iván González, offering traditional tapas, portions and dishes with different touches, in which everything revolves around the high quality, seasonal ingredients used.
The establishment is a multi-purpose place with capacity for 80 people. It has a large central bar and high tables at the entrance, located alongside the wine cellar, which is displayed in a large cabinet. At the rear, there is a lounge with round tables and enough space to ensure privacy. Alongside the show kitchen, there is the “chef’s table”, with capacity for 7 diners. There is also an exterior terrace for 20 people.
The Barra y Mantel menu is the same for the bar and sitting at a table, as is the service. Its dishes are traditional: quality meat, fish, rice and stews, among others, to which the chef tries to add a personal touch, whilst respecting the flavours of the products. The proposal is rounded off with an extensive wine cellar with 100 Spanish, French and some German references, as well as a wide selection of cocktails.
