Alongside the Line 10 platforms, Chamartín station hosts an exhibition with the first trains that ran on the Metro a century ago.  There, the first Metro carriage which King Alfonso XIII boarded to open Line 1 will be on display, as well as curiosities, like a telephone that was used in the 1960s to communicate with the nearest station.

To finish, head to the Plaza de Santa Ana, where you will find the statue that Julio López Hernández dedicated to author Federico Garcia Lorca.
