Welcome to Madrid
This art gallery, located in the Salamanca neighbourhood, boasts major works from American, Asian and European colonial art. Its founder, Concha Barrios, stands out for her endless activity as an antiquarian all over the world.
Barrios began her career in the art world with a gallery in Calle Claudio Coello in Madrid, in 1977, specialised in Ancient Painting and 19th century art. Later, in 1994, she opened another gallery in Naples with her husband, Claudio Brandi, an antiquarian from Naples specialised in decorative art.
The Gallery has been present at some of the most important national and international fairs, such as TEFAF (Maastricht), TEFAF (Basel), BIENNALE INTERNAZIONALE DELL’ANTIQUARIATO (Milan), MOSTRA INTERNAZIONALE DELL’ANTIQUARIATO (Florence), SALON DU COLLECTIONNEUR (Paris), IFAE (Palm Beach, Miami, USA) or FERIARTE (Madrid) , among others.
