Welcome to Madrid

This stage school, which provides continuing professional development for actors, was set up by the actress, acting teacher and theatre director Lorena García de las Bayonas. It also has a theatre where the Teatro a Voces company, made up of actors from this school, put on their productions.

The venue can seat up to 82 people, with tiered seating. The stage is 13 metres wide and 12 metres deep.

The Centro del Actor opened its doors in 2012 with the idea of creating a space where actors could receive specific courses by way of continuing professional development, or continue for a few years to acquire partial or full training, under the tutelage of national and international professional teachers.
