Welcome to Madrid

The brothers Jose Antonio and José Miguel del Pozo, Venezuelan chef and illustrator, respectively, have two restaurants in Madrid. This one is in Calle Jorge Juan, right in the heart of the Salamanca district, and the other is in Calle de San Lorenzo, in Chueca. In both of them, you can sample original sandwiches inspired by Venezuelan cuisine.

This restaurant, located in one of the city's most elite neighbourhoods, can seat up to 80 people. The works of various artists are often displayed on its walls.

As well as large sandwiches, La Casa Tomada serves up various street food proposals designed for sharing and a selection of craft beers. One of its most famous dishes is Chilli Cheese Fries (chips, chilli con carne, jalapeño peppers, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, coriander, and topped with an egg).
