Welcome to Madrid
Since 1988, this restaurant has been offering the best of American and Spanish cuisine, in a perfect fusion that responds to the challenges posed by gastronomy today. Located in Calle de Alcalá, La Gamella serves up tapas and snacks as well as more formal meals.
This small restaurant can seat up to 40 people, although on the lower floor there is also a private area that can be reserved for up to 10 people. The decor is original and colourful, with certain vintage touches.
Its menu includes classics such as Cesar salad, steak tartare with a dash of Jack Daniels, and American hamburgers, not to mention characteristic Spanish offerings such as Iberian acorn-fed cured ham, barbecued octopus on toast, and Iberian sobrasada sausage on rustic bread with a rocket salad. It also offers set menus and a very complete Sunday brunch.
