Near Calle de Alcalá and El Retiro Park, this restaurant devoted to game and local ingredients, with seasonal cuisine rooted in Castilian tradition, offers diners tapas and dishes that combine tradition with innovation.

The establishment is divided into two floors. The upper floor holds Barra Fina de Barrio, a traditional-style bar where you can enjoy a glass of beer or wine washed down with traditional tapas such as bacon rashers, croquettes, oxtail and tripe. The ground floor holds the restaurant, which combines the classic with the modern and features a set lunch menu based on seasonal cuisine as well as more elaborate dishes for dinner.

In addition to the regular menu, there’s also a tasting menu featuring personal creations by the chef, Miguel Carretero, which changes every week.
