Welcome to Madrid
In the heart of the Goya neighbourhood you’ll find this inviting restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, where the ingredients themselves –skilfully handled and prepared– and meticulous presentation take centre stage. Its fish, seafood and meat are all first-rate, sourced from Galician fish markets and abattoirs that supply Michelin-starred establishments.
Sargo is divided into three distinct areas: a gorgeous terrace, a bar area with high tables at the entrance, and the rest of the space, which is decorated in a warm, modern and elegant style. The establishment is known as “Madrid's coral reef”, and on its menu Galician chef Pucho Landin pays homage to his homeland with dishes such as grilled octopus, pulpo a feira (“fair-style” octopus, seasoned with salt, paprika and olive oil) and Galician-style small scallops, an original recipe of his mother’s. There are also meat dishes for customers to enjoy, however, such as the rib steak with roast potatoes and green salad and the sirloin with foie, mushroom sauce and boiled potato salad.
The establishment boasts an extensive wine list and a fully-stocked cocktail bar.
