Welcome to Madrid
Located between Calle Príncipe de Vergara and Calle Goya, this small restaurant managed by Pablo Montero and Alejandro Díaz (both of whom have extensive experience in the kitchens of many renowned establishments) offers a short menu based on fresh market produce, with dishes designed for sharing in order to give continuity to Spanish culture and traditions. Recognized as Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide.
The narrow Calle Espartinas is where you will find this small traditional 'taberna' decorated with exposed brickwork, and high and low wooden tables, with the capacity to seat up to 22 diners. Here you can sample traditional dishes and tapas that have been given a modern make-over to create laid-back and personal offerings. The menu includes fried broccoli brochette with kimchi, smoked cumin and lime zest sauce, a white prawn roll with toasted garlic and slivers of chilli, as well as tiger prawns in a yellow curry sauce served with a fennel salad.
