Welcome to Madrid
In October 1981, this American food chain opened up its first restaurant on Calle Lagasca. They went on to open two more restaurants given the success that their typical American fare has enjoyed over the years. Alfredo's Barbacoa serves excellent meats cooked US style, with typical country decor.
After the closure of its premises in Conde de Aranda in January 2022, the restaurant in Lagasca, in the heart of the Salamanca neighbourhood, has been expanded and is now able to cater for more people, both inside and on its terrace. The decor is typically American, and its menu includes specialities that have made it famous among fans of great burgers, along with wide array of gluten-free dishes.
The other branch of Alfredo's Barbacoa is located at No. 11 Calle Juan Hurtado de Mendoza, very close to Plaza de Cuzco, in the district of Chamartín.
