Welcome to Madrid
This elegant space, used as a restaurant, shop and a meeting point for numerous cultural activities, is located in a former manor house in La Latina that, in the early 20th Century, housed the offices of the newspaper El Imparcial, which was widely read and very influential during the Regency of María Cristina.
El Imparcial is spread over two floors and has a bar, a restaurant and bar area, and a shop where they sell various gift items, specialist magazines and craft beers, among other things. The restaurant area offers authentic Madrid cuisine with a contemporary feel, serving up dishes such as ‘patatas bravas’ (fried potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce), bull's tail croquettes, fried squid sandwich with black aioli, as well as meat produced by La Finca and international dishes, including pizzas, tacos, and hamburgers.
On workdays it has a set daily menu and a complete brunch on Sundays.
