Welcome to Madrid

This peak, in the north-west of the Community of Madrid, between La Pedriza and Barranca Valley, owes its name to the difficulty of its ascent, with a steep relief except for the north side.   With an altitude of 2,227 metres above sea level, it is one of the highest peaks in the Guadarrama Sierra.
