Welcome to Madrid
The Van Dulken Calleja brothers are four fine dining enthusiasts who, one day, decided to put their passion into practice, bringing together the sensitive memory of family gatherings around the table and everything they would like to find in a restaurant.
La Vanduca is a space with a bar and high tables, a dining area and terrace which becomes a meeting point from midday until midnight. Its menu is served uninterruptedly and includes half portions of some of its dishes and a range of snacks. To drink, it offers a varied selection of simple wines, as well as a cocktail list.
The Malaga origins of the founders of La Vanduca are present in many dishes on the menu, whereby the ingredients are of prime importance without forgetting originality. Tuna belly salad, salmorejo with its garnish, Iberian tomato salad, beef hamburger with Payoyo cheese from Cadiz, mollete bread from Antequera with pringá (bread dipped in stew) and prawns in Oriental tempura are some of their specialities with an Andalusian aftertaste.
