Welcome to Madrid
Located in the Hortaleza neighbourhood, this restaurant offers revamped traditional cuisine based on excellent ingredients, loving preparation and detailed presentation by the chef, Sergio Martínez.
The specialities at Canica include the chef’s fritters, honeyed octopus rice with a touch of paprika or red tuna in tartar on a bed of crunchy rice and kimchi. All of these delicacies can be savoured in an establishment with a New York feel, divided into two open-plan spaces decorated with wooden and glass cabinets and long tables and benches running along its walls. The entire establishment also opens out onto the street thanks to a retractable system that gives the feeling of a terrace even when the weather is not so great.
La Canica has another restaurant in Valdebebas, on 27 Luis Moya Blanco Street and La Taberna Canica on 10 Avenida del Partenón, in front of Ifema.
