"A Punto" Bookshop

    Information

    Located in Calle Hortaleza, in Chueca, this centre specialised in cuisine has a bookshop, store and school, where all kinds of cookery classes are held, some of which in English for foreigners. It can also be booked to hold all kinds of events.  

    The establishment, spanning more than 400 square metres, has two floors, on which the kitchen utensils store and bookshop is distributed, offering more than 4,000 cooking books and wine references in all languages, as well as a wine cellar, two kitchens and a large tasting - dining room.

    A Punto is made up of a team of culinary and wine professionals, sommeliers, prestigious chefs and specialised journalists, led by the sommelier, Roberta Bruno, and the culinary journalists, Ana Lorente and Sara Cucala. Courses offered include traditional Spanish cuisine, international cuisine, intensive, new techniques, rice,  confectionary or bread making.

    They also have another school devoted to ecological products and local producers in Torremocha del Jarama, a village in the sierra to the north of Madrid, located close to Patones de Arriba.
