Welcome to Madrid

This pharmacy dates as far back as 1827. It is known by the name of “Antigua Farmacia de las Platerías”, and Farmacia Mayor 44, because Platerías was the name given to this section of the street.

The establishment, medium in size, has a series of shelves with Neogothic and Modernist Gothic crests in varnished wood, from the late 19th century, with openings for the medicine jars, and a wooden facade. It has belonged to the Navarro family since 1909.
