Welcome to Madrid
Having been closed for several years, the San Miguel Market has reopened its doors and become a meeting place for gourmets, without forgetting its traditional function of filling shopping baskets thanks to stalls such as La Flor.
Hilario Vasco and Santiago Gil have opened this greengrocers' stall, which remains true to its essence, always offering customers a close personal shopping experience, as in days gone by. It sells a variety of fruit and vegetables, from the commonplace to the more exotic varieties, as well as bringing to Madrid products with designation of origin from Spain, such as peaches from Lérida, oranges from Valencia and muscatel grapes. To buy these and many other delicacies in the San Miguel Market, just head on down to the city centre, the Plaza de San Miguel.
