Vitra

    Information

Since 1957, this family company has manufactured a wide range of furniture for the office, home and public places, in collaboration with innovative designers.  These items include chairs and tables for the home and office, sofas, storage units and shelves, stools and benches, airport seats, lighting, cushions, gifts and more.

Everything that Vitra manufactures is touched by modern, innovative design. The Madrid store is a large, modern, elegant space: a place to enjoy detail. Vitra is synonymous with design in all of its facets.

The Vitra name is associated with the Vitra Design Museum and its important collection of modern furniture and document archives, with workshops and publications about design and with a new architectural interpretation. Its head office, in Birsfelden (Switzerland), and the Vitra Campus, in Weil am Rhein (Germany), have buildings by Fran Gehry, Nicholas Grimshaw and Zaha Hadid, among other renowned architects.
