Carrera y Carrera

    Information

Carrera y Carrera dates back to 1885, when its founders saw the potential of the growing luxury industry. In the 1950s the first important commissions began to arrive with pieces for such famous clients as Elisabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Balenciaga. In 1960, Carrera y Carrera designed a tiara for the wedding of King Baudouin I of Belgium and Queen Fabiola.

The firm's success is the result of its painstaking work and insistence on perfection. In the 1970s it began to expand and currently has its own boutiques and hundreds of other sales points in over 20 countries. Its largest markets are in Russia and Japan.

Its distributors include such prestigious firms as Harrod’s and the world's only seven-star hotel the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. It also works with leading figures in the world of fashion, such as the designer Valentino. Carrera y Carrera jewellery and watch makers are synonymous with precious stones, noble metals, and traditional handicraft.

The result is unique, exclusive designs, produced by expert craftsmen, who track the latest trends in colours, proportions and jewellery motifs seen each year on international catwalks. The firm designs and produces jewellery for the aristocracy and for top models, singers, actresses and other international celebrities.
