Welcome to Madrid

The history of Camper has a great shoemaking tradition in its favour, which goes back to 1877 when Antonio Fluxá, a shoemaking craftsman, brought together a group of craftsmen in the region of Inca (Majorca) and began working with the first shoemaking machines. Three generations later, his grandson Lorenzo Fluxá created Camper in 1975 with a concept that unites simplicity, comfort, naturalness and style.

Camper means peasant. The austerity, simplicity and discretion of the rural world combine with technical and aesthetic innovation in this footwear. These shoes are comfortable, casual, useful, functional, versatile, innovative, fun, inspired in the Mediterranean, creative and unexpected. They are grouped into diverse concepts, such as 'Camaleon', 'Pelotas', 'Twins', etc.

They are made in water-repellent, resistant, natural leather combined with technologies such as 360º sewing. Their original soles are also noteworthy, with designs that leave very particular footprints. The brand has more than 400 stores in over 40 countries. It won the National Design Prize in 1998.

Camper has other stores in Madrid at Calle Serrano, 24; spaces in El Corte Inglés in Princesa, Preciados, Castellana, Goya, Sanchinarro and Pozuelo; and in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
