Welcome to Madrid

Fernando de Torre opened the doors of his first shop-workshop in 1823, in Calle del Carmen. In 1858, having inherited the shop his nephew, Manuel de Diego de Torre, it moved to number 12, Puerta del Sol, where it continues today, producing, selling and repairing different top quality accessories for ladies and gentlemen, such as umbrellas, fans or walking sticks.  Its offer is rounded off with Manila shawls, veils, shawls, ornamental hair combs, castanets and parasols.

Later, due to popular demand, it extended in 1939 with a new factory and shop on Calle de Mesonero Romanos. All of its articles are handmade, paying particular attention to the quality and exclusivity of the products. Since its opening, the business has been run by the founder’s heirs.

Their experience in this trade has led them to work for Royal Households all over the world, including the Spanish Royal Household. Arturo Herandi de Diego designed the fan that Letizia Ortiz, Princess of Asturias, carried at her wedding. It also receives orders for films.
