Panta Rhei
Information
Making Heraclitus’s maxim theirs, “Panta Rhei Kai Ouden Menei”: Everything flows, nothing is left unchanged, the ultimate space devoted to visual arts in Madrid moved in 2005 to calle Hernán Cortés from their original location on calle Pelayo so as to expand their facilities and catalogue.
Their shelves are filled with books about art, graphic design, photography, advertising, illustration, essay, motion graphics, corporative identity, fashion, comics and typography, coexisting with catalogues from exhibitions, graphic novels, infographs, industrial design, etc.
Furthermore, it has a children’s section, another one with novels and poetry books including artistic elements and another called Lhíbridos, where they display a complete catalogue for the general public. Along with their own publishing house -Panta Rhei- which promotes illustrated works by artists in the field, this bookstore also opens their space to drawing and design specialists so that they can showcase their creations.
In 2019, they opened a space for workshops where you can unleash all your creativity with the guidance of artisans and teachers. To accommodate more illustrators, they have added a permanent section for Prints.
