Hermés

    Information

Since 1837, this French empire has signed the most exquisite and delicate accessories, crafted by artisans who are trained for up to four years in order to capture the essence that has been part of Hermès for five generations: foulards, ties, leather goods, perfumes, jewels and even his line of linens can’t be matched.

All of this can be admired and purchased at their renewed store on calle Ortega y Gasset. The Hermès dynasty has turned accessories into real cult items, for which even have a waiting list of up to two years. This is the case of the Grace bag, immortalised by Grace Kelly on the cover of Life magazine, or the Birkin model, in honour of the singer and actress Jane Birkin.

But the French brand’s collections also include men’s and women’s prêt à porter proposals. Véronique Nichanian and Jean-Louis are responsible for the men’s designs, while eccentric designer Jean Paul Gaultier is currently in charge of dressing the Hermès woman.
