Welcome to Madrid

Aside from a gourmet store, Il Pastaio is a true ‘pastificio’, a shop where they make fresh pasta in the style of the ones in Italy and where one can buy fresh-made pasta every day. It started out jointly with neighbouring restaurant Il Pastaio del Vecchio Molino, which they provide with the main ingredient for their dishes.

But pasta is not the only thing one can purchase at this store, in which, upon entering, one feels like having travelled to the “bella Italia”. They also have wines, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, different types of bread, chocolates, prepared dishes to go and the genuine Limoncello, typical liqueur from the transalpine country made with lemons grown in the Gulf of Naples.
