Parque de la Bombilla

    Information

Just a few minutes from Príncipe Pío station, at the feet of Parque del Oeste and just a few metres from the River Manzanares, lies this park which hosts a summer film classic in Madrid each year, the FESCINAL open air film festival.

The Bombilla Park is best known for hosting what is perhaps the most veteran summer cinemas in the city. From the end of June until mid-September, the best films in digital format are screened here under the Madrid  sky, using the latest technology.

In its gardens, the park has squares, staggered terraces with water channels, sports facilities and children’s areas which, due to their proximity to the San Antonio de la Florida chapel, form part of the site where the most popular festivals in honour of this saint are held each year.
