Welcome to Madrid

The façade of the Casa de las Alhajas is a clear example of the architecture of the second half of the 19th century. It has a surface area of more than 1,300 square metres, spread around a square central courtyard, around which the rest of the rooms are distributed and the roof has an iron and glass skylight. The outer walls are made out of exposed brick with rust and limestone, in which there are different openings with ornamental elements.

It has been fitted out for its use as a temporary exhibition hall and for other events, such as Christmas markets, as well as a venue for all types of private or corporate events and celebrations.

The building is owned by the MonteMadrid Foundation, which is responsible for its management. In is an independent, non-profit entity which works to improve the life of citizens through social, educational, cultural and environmental projects.
