The municipality of Arganda del Rey is home to this huge space, 200,000 square metres, distributed into different areas designed to host shows and spectacles, particularly major concerts. With a capacity to hold 96,000 people, it also has 6,000 parking spaces and excellent transport links by road and public transport.

La Ciudad del Rock (City of Rock) has a 900 square metre main stage, made up of three giant sound boxes arranged in a circle. It also has a 'World Stage', 100 metres long by 28 metres high, with 200 solar panels that contribute to its energy sustainability. In the centre of this venue stands the 'Fountain of the stars', 240 metres long, with 40 illuminated water shoots that dance to the beat of the music.

It has hosted every edition of the Rock in Rio Festival Madrid.
