Welcome to Madrid

The Elba Benítez Gallery in Madrid opened its doors in April 1990 and has been committed to the promotion of contemporary art in Spain ever since, with the aim of promoting the work of Spanish and foreign artists internationally.

The gallery has covered a wide range of supports, such as sculpture, painting, photography, video, site-specific installations, performance art and collective actions.

The gallery has been used to explore the relationship between contemporary art and other disciplines like architecture, film, tourism, town planning and the production of projects for public spaces.

Amongst the gallery artists, we find creators such as Cristina Iglesias, Carlos Garaico, Ignasi Aballí and Mario García Torres.
