Fuente del Rey House Museum. AMYC Foundation (Aravaca)

    Information

This museum offers visitors a collection of over 250 works (198 paintings, 37 sculptures and 27 drawings) produced between the mid-nineteenth century and the early twenty-first century. The collection includes works by such distinguished artists as Sorolla, Mariano Fortuny, Nonell, Rusiñol, Ramón Casas, Mir, Rendir, Gargallo, Joseph Llimona, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, Tàpies, Anglada Camarasa and Torres García.

The exhibits come from the private collection of collector and patron of the arts Francisco Daurella and can be seen in what was once his house. The 3,000 metres of floor space in the building and the garden area have been refurbished to accommodate Madrid’s first museum devoted exclusively to Catalan art.
