Welcome to Madrid
The Alfil Theatre is a hall with over half a century of history. The Yllana company has owned the theatre since 2006, having run it since 1996, placing the theatre at the forefront of the capital’s cultural proposals. The works that are programmed are halfway between commercial and alternative.
This versatile hall can be adapted to all kinds of shows and events, such as theatre, concerts, presentations, conferences, courses, celebrations, etc. with a maximum capacity to seat 220 people in the circle and the stalls, in which there are rows of fixed seating as well as a diaphanous area with tables and sets to have a drink whilst watching the show. It is the only theatre in Madrid with a bar serving drinks inside the hall.
The Alfil Theatre building is also home to the Madrid Flamenco Theatre, the world’s first theatre devoted to this art with a daily programme and different shows.
