Welcome to Madrid
One of the most important cultural centres in the capital. It is located in a 19th century building that still preserves much of its structure, in which the Neo-Mudejar style, which is so popular in Madrid’s architecture of that period, stands out.
With its courses, free Internet rooms, computer classes for retired people and a whole host of activities like its theatre and puppet shows, the centre attends to thousands of citizens.
Its facilities include a theatre hall, the Teatro Quique San Francisco, (whose name was given to it in 2021, in memory of the popular actor, resident of Chamberí), where high-quality performances can be enjoyed.
Docking station: Calle Fernando el Católico, 19
Free access to the building and exhibitions.
Other activities: ask at the centre.
