Enrique Tierno Galván Park

    Information

Located in the Legazpi neighbourhood, close to the Méndez Álvaro bus, metro and urban rail stations, this large park has a wide variety of tree species, flora and fauna. Two children’s areas, sports facilities, a bio-healthy circuit, cycleways and several vantage points can all be enjoyed here.

The park also has three ponds, with their respective bridges.

Inside, there is the Madrid Planetarium, an open-air auditorium, the former IMAX cinema, which has been closed since September 2014, and a statue in honour of its creator, Mayor Enrique Tierno Galván.
