The Avenida de América Station is a bus station connecting intercity buses with city buses and subways. Therefore, it is very fast-paced at any hour of the day. It is the first reference point for many travellers upon stepping foot in Madrid.

  • ALSA ( +34 - 91 020 70 07), following its merger with Continental-Auto in 2007, covering long distance routes to Baza, Bilbao, Burgos, Irun, Laredo, Llivia, Pamplona, Logroño, Salobreña, Salou, San Sebastian, Santader, Soria, Tarragona, Torredelmar, Torrelavega, Vitoria/Gasteiz and Zaragoza.

  • PLM Autocares ( +34 941 202 777), with services running to Belorado, Estella, Haro, Ibeas de Juarros, Logroño, Los Arcos, Najera, Pamplona, Puente de la Reina/Gares, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Viana.
