Cascabel
Information
Run by the great chef Roberto Ruiz, this Mexican restaurant is the 'little brother' of Punto MX, which boasts one Michelin star. It is situated within the Gourmet Experience zone of El Corte Inglés in the Calle Serrano, right by establishments run by other great chefs such as Jordi Roca's Rocambolesc, and StreetXO by Dabiz Muñoz.
It offers an informal dining experience, designed for people to share food, blending different Mexican cuisines where everyone eats a little of what they fancy. The menu includes tacos, a few dishes from Punto MX adapted for this new space, and a variety of cocktails from Mezcal Lab. The space was designed by the Mexican artistic director Eugenio Caballero. It can seat up to 40 people, with tables and a large bar with stools behind which there is an open kitchen where the team of chefs prepared the food in full view of the customers. There is also a terrace area that can seat a further 40 people.
