Welcome to Madrid
Located by the Puerta de Alcalá, on the site where the legendary Club 31 once stood, Arahy is a restaurant that is devoted to premium ingredients and the pleasure of fine food. The kitchen is headed up by chef José Raimundo Ynglada, better known as Mundy, who also owns the restaurant.
The cuisine served at Arahy focuses on premium ingredients, serving up bluefin tuna brought in from Barbate in six different ways: carpaccio with soy, lime, and truffle; tartar with guacamole; spicy with wakame and almonds; griddled with caramelised onion and foie gras; tataki with chipotle; and caramelised with green asparagus.
The menu also features dishes such as line-caught baby squid, Galician beef sirloin with truffle and foie gras, and Atlantic halibut carpaccio with olive, soy and truffle. The desserts section includes a delicate apple pie with caramel ice cream. Finally, the wine selection includes references from the country's leading wine producing regions.
