Welcome to Madrid
Located in Habsburg Madrid, the essence of this restaurant is traditional but with major international touches. With the Japanese chef, Kenji Morita, at the helm, its menu combines Madrid’s traditional dishes with roast beef or pork croquettes - as Madrid stew is served on Thursdays, along with international proposals.
Its wine cellar includes a wide selection of wines from all over Spain, particularly those from Jerez and Borgaña, with three sommeliers led by Sergio Martin, to ensure the proper pairing.
The small establishment has brick walls and wooden floors, tables and chairs, where wine is the main feature, with various bottles behind the bar and adorning one of the walls, giving it a cosy feeling. It was voted the best tapas bar in 2007 by “El Mundo / Metrópoli.
