Welcome to Madrid

On 19 May, the fourth edition of the ISDE Sports Convention, ISC 2023, the international congress on the sports industry and law, organised by the Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE) in collaboration with LaLiga, will be held at the Duques de Santona Palace (Chamber of Commerce ).

This event revolves around the challenges of globalisation, sustainability and technological advancement in the world of sport, aimed at senior representatives and executives of sports law companies, marketing and communication directors, and students specialising in sports law.

The programme at this year’s edition deals with topics such as the presence of women in the management of sports organisations, the new Sports Act, and the situation of the Professional Leagues. At its last edition, former basketball player Pau Gasol, the best player in women’s football Alexia Putellas, the president of Atlético de Madrid Enrique Cerezo, and Madrid City Council all received awards.
