Welcome to Madrid
This restaurant follows the same philosophy of their two other restaurants in Madrid, A Dos Velas and A Cuerpo de Rey. Far from being conventional, it is a casual place for all kinds of people. Their friendly and close attention will make you feel at home.
They don’t look for the last cooking trends. They don’t want to be original either. They just try to offer good food in generous portions, mixing traditional flavors with others from different origins. Some of their offers are warm salad (with fresh spinach, basil, crispy bacon, walnuts, raisins and goat cheese), tuna belly filets with mint majadito and thai tabule, Argentinian beef burger and chocolate cake with dulce de leche ice-cream.
The interior is decorated with some ethnic touches and they have kept the original structure of the building: brick, granite and exposed beams together with metals and wood, which gives a warm and intimate ambience to the place. From Monday to Thursday, you will find a romantic and quiet atmosphere. However, at weekends it becomes lively and crowded. They offer set menus for lunch (from Monday to Friday), for dinner (from Sunday to Thursday) and for groups.
