Welcome to Madrid
Following on from the Señorío de Alcocer, the classic restaurant serving haute-cuisine from Navarra, El Almirez opened its doors in October 1998 in the Salamanca neighbourhood, where it serves traditional home-made food prepared with seasonal products with a Basque-Navarra inspiration.
The establishment is divided into two spaces: the more classic and bourgeois restaurant and the other decorated in a tavern style revolving around wine.
The menu consists of starters, fish, meat and desserts, and is available in Braille and French. It also serves a wide variety of tapas, pintxos and open sandwiches at the bar and customised menus for celebrations. The menu indicates which dishes are suitable for celiacs.
