The British rock musician, one of the best-selling musical artists of all times, will be on stage at the WiZink Center on 12 July to give a unique show in which he will perform the greatest hits of his musical career, such as Forever Young, Can´t Stop Me Now or Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, among others.
British rock musician, songwriter and producer, Rod Stewart (London, United Kingdom, 1945) is known worldwide for having been the vocalist in The Jeff Beck Group and Faces bands, as well as his talented and successful career as a singer.
Having sold more than 200 million albums with his characteristic voice and unmistakeable style, Rod Stewart is one of the artists who has been most influential on popular music, from rock & roll to new wave. At the age of 78, the musician is still bringing out hits after five decades. In 2019, he released Another Country, the 29th album of his career, which was the continuation of his album, Time (2013), with which he embarked on a new rock phase.
Rod Stewart has been praised as the best singer of his generation and has written songs that have become anthems that have passed from generation to generation. Proof of this are Forever Young, Can´t Stop Me Now, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, Maggie May, Rhythm of My Heart, The First Cut Is the Deepest or Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.
Recognitions include the ASCAP Founders Award for song writing, a Grammy™ Living Legend or his appointment as “Sir Rod Stewart” at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity. He has also been included twice in the Rock Hall of Fame, first of all in 1994 as a soloist and then in 2012 as a member of Faces, and he formed part of the UK Hall of Fame in 2006.
