The festival has changed its venue from the WiZink Center to the Zarzuela Hippodrome
The Zarzuela Hippodrome is hosting the first edition of Distrito Urbano on 24 September, a festival in a macro-concert format that brings together some of today’s best known singers, such as Quevedo, Becky G, Cauty, Eix, Yuseph, Yago Roche and the Bresh party.
Distrito Urbano Madrid is coming to the city as an event especially designed for a young audience to satisfy the musical tastes and tendencies of the new generations.
As part of the festival, the reggaeton and trap singer from the Canary Islands, Quevedo, can be seen on stage, having become famous on the national scene thanks to his summer megahit, Quédate, a song in collaboration with the Argentinean producer, Bizarrap, which forms part of his BZRP Music Sessions.
Heading the festival’s line-up, there is also the Californian artist, Becky G, an up and coming singer in recent years, responsible for hits like Mayores with the rapper, Bad Bunny, and Sin Pijama, with the Dominican vocalist, Natti Natasha. Her most recent songs feature No Mienten in conjunction with DJ Tiësto or MAMIII with Karol G.
There will also be live performances by other well known artists, such as the reggaeton vocalist from Puerto Rico, Cauty, the urban composer who is also from Puerto Rico, Eix, the American hip hop artist, Yuseph, and Yago Roche from Catalonia, who has become one of the promises of urban music. To round off the evening in style, Bresh, the world’s best party, offers perreo and glitz on the dance floor with DJs.
All of them and many more offer an evening full of the most contemporary rhythms combined with rap, soul, Latin music, raggaeton, trap, etc. a combination of styles that have provided such popular songs in recent years as Infiel, Mal Necesario, Mala Mía or the super hits, Mayores or Sin Pijama by Becky G.
