Welcome to Madrid

This restaurant was founded in 1975 and is located in Ciudad Rodrigo, one of the streets near Plaza Mayor. The Valle del Tiétar, although recently renovated, still maintains the appearance of an old bar that is typical in this area of the city, characterised by its red façade and long bar located just as you enter. Its cooking is inspired by Madrid gastronomy, so tripe, homemade croquettes and squid a la romana are three of their star dishes; in spite of this, paella and cuttlefish are also some of their most popular specialities.
