Welcome to Madrid

Since 1890, this cosy restaurant has been presenting its customers with a menu made up of traditional recipes, prepared in a home-made manner and paying homage to classic and product cuisine. Both for its gastronomic proposal and for the atmosphere that is breathed in the place, it is a clear example of classic illustrated tasca of Madrid.

The premises consist of a bar area with high stools and a flying table on which to eat something, as well as a low table with stools, and a small dining room with a few tables and chairs.

The menu includes tripe with a recipe from Madrid or cocido de Madrid (every Thursday to order), as well as fabada asturiana, roast suckling pig, oxtail or hake.

It owes its name to the La Suprema, possibly because of its proximity to the Supreme Court. Not surprisingly, many of her clientele are judges and lawyers.
