The trapper from Barcelona, Bad Gyal, is giving a concert at WiZink Center on 17 February 2023 in which she will present her latest albums: Warm Up and Sound System: The Final Releases.

Born in Vilasar de Mar (Barcelona) in 1997, Alba Farelo i Solé is a singer and songwriter known artistically as Bad Gyal, whose melodies combine contemporary styles, such as reggaeton, dancehall and trap. Her musical career began in 2016 when she uploaded a version of Rihanna's Work in Catalan, under the title of Pai.

Shortly afterwards, other songs like Fiebre, Indapanden or No Pierdo Nada, which she recorded improvising in studios set up at friends’ houses, catapulted her to fame as a viral phenomenon.    Her lyrics are characterised for being daring and taking a clear stance in issues like feminism, homophobia or racism.

In the same year, she released her first mixtape, Slow Wine Mixtape, obtaining a double platinum disc in 2020. In 2018, she was back with Worldwide Angel, in which she mixed songs in Catalan, English and Spanish.  Thanks to her success, the Interscope label, promoter of stars like Lady Gaga or Selena Gomez, signed her up in 2019 and produced her single, Santa Maria, with which she obtained another double platinum disc in Spain.

In 2021, she released Warm Up, which includes the participation of soloists like Rauw Alejandro, El Guincho, Khea, Rema and Juanka, and the EP, Sound System: The Final Releases, which includes three new compositions.

Her dizzying career has earned her nicknames like “Queen of the Dancehall” and apart from her own projects, she has also collaborated with other artists on singles like BOBO with Mariah Angeliq and Maria Becerra and Esta Noche with Lalo Ebratt.
