Right in the heart of Chamberí, the Sagaretxe restaurant (the apple house) opened its doors in 1999, turning the idea of bringing the atmosphere and the tradition of the Basque cider houses to Madrid, a reality.

A busy premises where a wide range of typical Basque tapas can be tried, with cod being the star. It also has an extensive menu of fish and meat on the oak charcoal grill.
