Welcome to Madrid

On 18 February 2023, at the Vistalegre Arena, the alternative metal-rock band, Bring Me the Horizon, will be performing as part of their Route Resurrection tour, playing all their greatest hits, and sharing the stage with some special guest artists.

The band first got together in 2003 in Sheffield, UK, and its members specialise in different styles of rock, such as punk rock drummer Matt Nicholls and singer Oliver Sykes, and guitarist Lee Malia, who specialises in thrash metal and melodic death metal.

They released their debut album in 2006, Count Your Blessings, following up in 2008 with Suicide Season, as their style shifted away from the deathcore of their first album more towards metalcore. Their later productions, such as Sepiternal in 2013 and That's the Spirit in 2015, also shifted the band closer to progressive rock and hard rock. AMO is their latest offering, released in 2019, a record with pop and electronic beats that was nominated at the Kerrang! Awards and the Grammys for Best Album. The single Mantra was also nominated at the Grammys for best rock song.

The concert will also include a set by A Day To Remember, a punk pop four-piece that has just released their seventh album: You're Welcome, rapper Poorstacy with his second album, Party at the Cemetery, and Lorna Shore, one of the most talented progressive deathcore bands to date, with three albums and several EPs to their name already.
