Welcome to Madrid

Opened in 1888, this centennial cider house, the oldest in Madrid, is one of the city’s emblematic establishments, located halfway between the San Antonio de la Florida Chapel, where the frescos by the painter, Francisco de Goya, can be seen and the Príncipe Pío station. The Bombilla Park, with its summer cinema, and Madrid Río are other nearby tourist attractions.

Housed in what was a former train depot, Casa Mingo is divided into two floors. Its decoration maintains the traditional atmosphere of its origins, with the presence of wood, barrels and bottles. It also has two large terraces, which are perfect for summer.

Its menu includes tapas and portions at a reasonable price. Its top dishes are roast chicken, spicy sausage in cider and, of course, the craft ciders prepared on the premises in the traditional way. It must be highlighted that its Madrid stew is served from Monday to Friday.
