Welcome to Madrid
Located in a small nook in the Ópera neighborhood, opposite the majestic Teatro Real, this cozy restaurant of Parisian reminiscences offers top-quality dishes, so making a reservation is a must, given its limited size.
The establishment, which opened in 1991, offers classic French gastronomy, with the home-made foie-gras as the stellar dish on its menu and numerous sauces to accompany it. This can be preceded by a warm cheese salad and washed down with one of the great wines from its cellar, finishing off with any of their home-made desserts.
La Esquina del Real not only delights the palate, but also the eye, with a cosy rustic decor with granite and vintage exposed brick seating and a pleasant and intimate lighting.
