It is a performance with songs, musicians and singers from the original line-up on Pink Floyd tours, with a light show and video screenings to remember this unforgettable rock opera.
The Wall is the eleventh studio album of the British progressive rock band, Pink Floyd, which was released in 1979 and almost all of the melodies were the work of Roger Waters. Their narrative conception tells of the life of a fictitious rock star called Pink, which is based on Waters’ own experiences. It is one of the best selling albums of all time, having sold around 33 million copies.
Pink Floyd performed this LP in its entirety during an extensive tour in 1980 and 1981, which was classified as one of the best of music. Furthermore, in 1990 Waters performed at the mega concert, The Wall Live in Berlin, with stars of the likes of Van Morrison, Sinéad O'Connor, Cyndi Lauper, Scorpions or Bryan Adams to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall. Their performances attracted some of the largest audiences ever.
