Welcome to Madrid
The Catalan chef launched his career in Madrid with this restaurant, in line with his own style of cuisine: avant-garde but respecting traditional flavours. The restaurant, which holds two Michelin stars and three Repsol Suns, is located in the garden of the exclusive Único Hotel, in the Salamanca district.
Freixa bases his food on fresh ingredients and excellence, authenticity of the flavors full of references of tradition, but with a modern twist and avant garde techniques. Food is accompanied by more than 450 wines from their wine cellar and a first-class service: Gil Rovira is in charge of the wine pairing custom made for each client.
Its gastronomic proposal consists of three menus: Temporalidad RFM (available from Wednesday to Friday at lunchtime), Decubriendo RFM and Universo Freixa.
The elegant and sophisticated restaurant can seat up to 25 diners on seven large and comfortable tables. It also has two private rooms for 4 people or an imperial dining table for 12 people.
